Finally Back

Sorry about not updating... I've just been so bamboozled with school work. Yes, bamboozled.

I'm thinking about changing up the way I post to posting more frequently, but shorter posts about one topic rather than one long post about three different topics. Let me know what you think, but for now, I'm sticking to the usual.

Check out this video (Thanks Naahid) of a grandma singing "Baby" by Justin Bieber. Some would say she's better than he is, but I don't think he's that bad. I just can't listen to him haha.

Also I finally listened to WZRD in its entirety and let's just say I was let down. It has a few good songs, but it's just not my type. I would give it a 2/5. Also speaking of Cudder, he tweeted that Man On The Moon: 3 will be held til 2014. :( I don't know if I can wait that long for some original Cudi.

And here are two Wiz Khalifa joints that are going to be featured in Taylor Allderdice which is releasing on March 13th.

All-Star Weekend Recap

I already showed y'all Friday's action, so here's Saturday and Sunday's.

Saturday:

Haier Shooting Stars: Team New York

Skills Challenge: Tony Parker

3-Point Contest: Kevin Love

Dunk Contest: Jeremy Evans

Sunday:

The 61st All-Star game was held and it was an exciting one. The West stormed out early and took a big lead, but the East cut the lead at the end the game to come back. Lebron James had a key turnover on the last possession of the game to give the East a change to either tie or take the lead... So expect him to hear an ear full from fans and haters. Kevin Durant won the MVP award, while Kobe passed Michael Jordan for most points scored in All-Star history.

Check out the highlights

All-Star Weekend Update

Sorry I haven't been updating... I've been so busy.

Let's start with Friday. Friday kicked off with the Celebrity Game and my main man Kevin Hart came to PLAY. Although he managed to get ejected from the game, the fans voted him to be MVP, but he decided to share it with Arne Duncan who actually deserved it because of his great play. Here's the highlights:

MVP Kevin Hart in a dunk contest with a kid
MVP Kevin Hart celebrating his award
Rappers J Cole and Common having fun
Arte Duncan dishing out an assist
Penny Hardaway rocking the Galaxy Foams and his special edition foams

After that was the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge. Kyrie Irving won the MVP and it was well deserved. He finished the game 8-8 from 3-point range racking up 34 points. Ricky Rubio and Blake Griffin also gave us a few highlight plays.

Blake Griffin throwing it down with authority
Kemba Walker scooooooping it in

MVP Kyrie Irving
Linsanity with the nice reverse

I'll post videos up for today's events tomorrow, but here are the results:

Haier Shooting Stars: Team New York

Skills Challenge: Tony Parker

3-Point Contest: Kevin Love

Dunk Contest: Jeremy Evans

Also, the new 2012 Nike Lunar Hyperdunk has been unveiled and I like what I see. It has a futuristic look to it and it uses Nike's LunarLon technology. It also has a new aesthetic aspect in which the Flywire is on the outside! Check it out:

Also, here's a pretty profound quote from Rakim Mayers, better known as A$AP Rocky:

"I don't give a f*** about your business. Man, if you're gay we can be friends. If you're straight, we can be friends…I really don't give a f*** and I don't think anyone should care about what another man's preference is…As long as you're a great person and, y'know, you don't bother me and make me uncomfortable, then let's be friends, dude. [Hip-hop] needs to stop being so close-minded because that will just cause the genre to fail. Look at pop. Pop doesn't discriminate against people. Look at Lady Gaga, y'know what I mean? Who the f*** makes the rules for hip-hop? Who the f*** dictates who's cool and who's not?" – Rakim

Tyga's album, Careless World, leaked. Download it and if you like it, buy it.

And lastly, here's a kinda old song that a recently found:

Phew that was a long post

One Month Anniversary

In honor of my blog's one month anniversary, here is another guide for the gentlemen.

A Gentleman's Guide to Kicking Game on the Internet:

1. Consider how creepy you are
2. Whenever possible, get a real person to introduce you
3. Reconsider your handle
4. Choose your approach (and approchee) carefully
5. Get involved in the conversation
6. Ask yourself if you woud do this in real life

Also, hear Lil' Wayne's interesting nickname for Linsanity. I didn't know he had his own version of SportsCenter. It's kinda whack, but just bear through it:

Lastly, here's a new song off Tyga's upcoming album:

Lebron Getting Reminiscent?

According to NBA.com, Lebron reiterates that he hasn't ruled out playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers once again. After his dramatic decision to join the Miami Heat, some would wonder whether Cleveland fans would let him play there in peace. What does Dwyane Wade have to say about this? "Anything is possible," he said. "Hopefully, I'm retired." Check out the full article here.

Running on Water?! o.O

So while I was watching the Hawks game last night, (which we lost..........) I was Stumbling during commercials and found a video of guys running on water... Literally running on water. It wasn't for long, probably about like 7 steps but it's pretty freaking cool. It's easily one of the top 5 coolest things I've seen. Check ittt.

In other news, Jeremy Lin is back at it and hit a game winner last night against Toronto. We just can't get enough of him!

New Kendrick Lamar. It's different... like the rest of his stuff:

Happy Valentine's Day!

First off, Happy Valentine's Day to all of y'all.

I won't be posting any "cute ideas" or "cute pictures" I saw today haha. However, I recommend checking out Simply Sabrina for all of that. It's actually kinda interesting!

To celebrate Valentine's Day, even though it has nothing to do with it, here's an article from Complex about the 50 ugliest haircuts in NBA history. Let me warn you, some are pretty bad...

Last, but certainly not least, is a new song from Chiddy Bang featuring Chip Tha Ripper. It's niceee.

Who Actually Likes Mondays..?

Alrighty, so because Mondays are so dreadful to the majority of us, I've decided to give y'all a little laugh. First off, Kevin Hart uploaded another "Weekend Pass" video of him and the Plastic Cup Boyz playing the UConn women's basketball team.

Also, when I was stumbling earlier, I found some pretty funny pictures/gifs. Who doesn't love gifs?

True gangstaaaa

This is SO true hahaha

Even more true! (If there are degrees of truth)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Also, Pharrell is in the studio AGAIN with A$AP Rocky. Who hasn't he been in the studio with recently? I can't wait to hear what he's been producing.

Finally, a new song. Big Sean's tribute to J Dilla.
